My 13 years-old daughter loves this dish. She's a picky eater and normally shuns her vegetables. But, ever since I whipped this dish, she has frequently requested for it. Ingredients

20 pieces Romaine Lettuce Leaves
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 cup Ground Turkey Meat
1 cup Whole Kernel Sweet Corn
1/2 cup Chopped Onion
1 cup Frozen Peas and Carrots
2 tbsp Hoisin Sauce
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
Directions
- Wash whole lettuce leaves and let it drain to dry out.
- In a heated pan, saute chopped onion in olive oil.
- Add ground turkey meat once onion become translucent. Stir ground meat and onion until the meat is brown.
- Add corn, peas and carrots to the pan.
- Add 2 tbsp hoisin sauce and pepper to the mixture.
- Cook for a couple of minutes until corn, peas and carrots are heated up.
- Transfer to a dish and let the mixture cool down.
- Lay one lettuce leaf flat on a plate and add 1/20 of the meat mixture on top. Roll and secure with a toothpick.
- Or you can serve lettuce separately from the meat mixture.
- Use the rest of the hoisin sauce as a topping.
