    minced garlic to taste (I use about 5 cloves)
    1 large onion diced
    4 stalks celery diced
    4 medium carrots peeled and sliced
    2 russet potatoes diced
    12 tsp seitenbacher broth powder
    10 cups of water
    2 cans butter beans (or your favorite beans)
    half a head of cabbage


this is tasty topped with a tablespoon of bacos


combine garlic, onion, celery, carrots and potato in a large soup pot and saute in a little water until onions are translucent

add broth powder and water. cook until potatoes and carrots are tender

add butter beans and shredded cabbage until cabbage is crisp tender

salt and pepper to taste
