Introduction

Ingredients

    16oz bag of Split Green Peas
    .5 Yellow Onion - roughly chopped
    5 Cloves of garlic- smashed to remove the skin
    2 tsp dried thyme
    2 tsp olive oil
    5 cups of water
    (optional) Ham - cubbed

Tips

Top with onion slices or fried onion pieces.


Directions

Add peas, chopped onion, garlic, and thyme to the crockpot.
Drizzle with a little olive oil.
Add water.
Add ham (optional).

Cook ingredients in crockpot on low for 6-8 hours.
Stir occasionally.
