    Apples, fresh, 1 small
    *Dole Pineapple Chunks 100% Pineapple Juice - 1/2 cup Banana, fresh, 1 medium
    Water, bottled (1/4 to 1/2 cup)
    Spinach, fresh, 2 cups

Tips

You can use fresh pineapple, but it's easy to keep the cups of pineapple in the fridge so it's ready when you need it.


Directions

Core and slice apple and pear and place in blender with banana, pineapple, water and spinach - blend until smooth or desired consistency (add more water to thin out or ice to thicken as needed)

    With the amount and variety of fruit, this is more of a fruit smoothie than a green smoothie. Try it using only one of the fruits and adding 1/2- 3/4 c plain or French vanilla Greek yogurt to decrease the carbs and increase the protein. Kaleey, MS, RDN, LD - 7/8/15
