Introduction

Ingredients

    - 8-10 potatoes

    - water for boiling

    - 1-2 yellow onions

    - 1 tbsp canola oil

    - 1/4 package of ground turkey

    -pinch of salt, pepper, and nutmeg(opt)

    -flour( can use whole wheat or all purpose)

    - panko( bread crumbs

    -egg diluted in water

    - canola oil for frying( 1/2 inch deep)

Tips

If you don't want to use so much oil, you can bake in the oven or in the toaster with a drizzle of oil if you like.


Directions

1. boil 8-10 peeled potatoes
2. cut into fourths or fifths
3. when they are soft, dump water
4. cook until the rest of the water is evaporated and mash
5. dice yellow onions and cook in oil
6. add turkey and add salt, pepper, nutmeg
7. cook till turkey is fully cooked
8. add tukey/onions to mashed potatoes, cutting any liquid
9. mix and roll into patties
10. cover lightly in flour then dip in egg mixture, then lightly in panko
11. everything must be cooled before cooking
12. oil is hot enough when you put chopsticks at bottom of pan and it starts to bubble
13. flip when ready
