Introduction

This is a great texas chili not spicey but can add if needed my kids love! This is a great texas chili not spicey but can add if needed my kids love!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2 c Canned tomatoes
    2 tb Sugar
    12 oz Pinto Beans
    1/4 ts cumin
    2 cups onion
    1 lb ground turkey
    1 tb chili powder
    1/2 ts black pepper
    3 bay leaves
    1ts oregano
    3 garlic cloves
    2 cups tomato sauce
    1 tb olive oil
    1/4 ts pepper, red ground
    3 all spice
    12 oz Kidney beans

Tips

This also freezes really well.


Directions

in a non stick skillet brown ground turkey and drain any excess fat. clean skillet then heat olive oil, add onions, celery and garlic cook medium heat for a few moments until softened. Place all the ground turkey and veg in slow cooker or dutch oven and all remaining beans spices and tomato products. Then simmer in slow cooker about 6 hrs on low, or on low/medium heat in dutch over for about an hour.
