Introduction

Easy, healthy, delicious chicken soup. Just throw the ingredients together and let them cook slowly while you're doing something else. Easy, healthy, delicious chicken soup. Just throw the ingredients together and let them cook slowly while you're doing something else.

Ingredients

    3 Boneless, Skinless Chicken breasts
    1 1/2 Cup Egg Noodles (or more, depending on preference)
    1 Tbsp chopped raw Onion
    1/4 Cup diced celery
    3 tbsp chopped carrots (can be changed for preference)
    1 tsp ground Thyme
    1 tsp dried rosemary
    1 Dash Black Pepper
    1 bay leaf WHOLE


Tips

Optional ingredient: Dried pepper flakes. This adds a bite to the soup that is unique. Just a dash along with the rest of the seasonings is just fine.


Directions

1. Place chicken into a large pot and cover with water, making sure to have plenty of water in the pot.

2. Add chopped onion, diced celery, and chopped carrots to the pot.

3. Add Thyme, Rosemary, Pepper, and bay leaf.

4. Bring to a boil, and let cook for 10 minutes, or until chicken is completely cooked.

5. Add Egg Noodles, and follow directions for cooking time on package.

6. Add any more seasoning as needed, and, using scissors, cut chicken into bite sized pieces.

7. Remove bay leaf and serve.

Serving Size: Makes 9 1 1/2-cup servings.
