Ingredients

    1 cup lentils
    1 cup bulgur wheat
    .25 onions
    4 minced garlic cloves
    1 can navy beans or pinto
    2 can diced tomatoes low sodium
    3 cups chicken broth low sodium
    3 tablespoons chili powder
    1.5 tablespoon cumin powder

    Fennel seed optional

got this recipe off allrecipes.com and made a few changes.


Directions

heat onion and garlic in pot with a little spray of pam. then add all other ingridients but the beans and cook for a half hour or more until all is tender, then add canned beans. heat a bit more and then serve.

put cheese or sour cream on top for a little more zing ;)
