Introduction

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    . 3 bell peppers
    . 1 jalapeno pepper
    . 3 cloves of garlic (or however many cloves you prefer)
    . 1 medium onion
    . 20 ounces extra lean ground beef (again, amount set to your preference)
    . 3 medium red-ripe tomatoes
    . 2 portabella mushrooms
    . 1 can of red kidney beans
    . 1 package of chili mix

Tips

the amount of ground beef I used is approximate. I just used what I had. The same goes for garlic, add more or less to your liking.


Directions

1. add diced peppers, garlic, and onion into the pot with 1/2 cup of water on high heat. let cook for 5 minutes
2. add ground beef, letting it brown in the pot
3. add the rest of your ingredients along with 2 cups of water. place lid on pot and let cook for 20 minutes


Serving Size: makes about 8, 1-cup servings
