Ingredients

32 Ounces Cubed Beef
1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
11 Ounces Carrots
1000 Grams Potatoes
400 Grams Celery
1 Teaspoon Oregano
2 Tablespoons Paprika
1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1 Tablespoon Basil
1 Tablespoon Salt
1 Packet McCormick Slow Cooker Beef Stew Seasoning Mix
2 Tablespoons All Purpose Flour
5 Cups Water
Directions
Cut the beef into 1" cubes.
Cut vegetables to desired sizes for stew.
Heat a pan and add vegetable oil.
Brown the beef cubes and place in the slow cooker.
Reserve the stew packet, water, and flour
Combine all other ingredients into slow cooker.
Mix the stew packet with 3 cups of water and pour into slow cooker.
Cook the stew on low for 8 hours.
When there is one hour remaining; mix the 2 tablespoons of flour with 2 cups of water to make a thickening sauce and stir into the slow cooker.
Serving Size: Makes 12 One Cup Servings
