Ingredients

    1 lb. 93% lean ground beef
    1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
    1/2 Green Bell Pepper
    1/4 cup frozen chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/4 t. crushed red pepper flakes
    1 cup salsa
    3 cups shredded Romaine lettuce (approx. 3 Romaine hearts)
    3/4 c. Shredded Mexican cheese
    1 bag Low-Fat Baked Tortilla Chips

Tips

* Add your favorite dressing if you desire. Remember to count your calories. I tried this with a delicious chipotle dressing to add even more spicy flavor.


Directions

Brown ground beef in skillet. Add green peppers and onions. While this is cooking, rinse and drain black beans. Smash beans with a potato masher. Finish browning beef. Drain. Add black beans and seasonings. Add a bit of water to moisten. Cook until warmed through.

Serve on top of low fat tortilla chips. Add salsa and shredded cheese. Serve immediately.
