Introduction

I love spaghetti and love making it too. My husband accuses me of putting the entire spice cabinet in it, but he eats it without complaint. :) Even my picky eater kids chow down on it. Ingredients

    1 box 100% Whole Wheat Spaghetti Noodles (I prefer the thin)
    1 lb. Ground Turkey (85/15)
    1 45 oz jar Ragu Chunky Tomato, Garlic, and Onion Spaghetti Sauce
    1 can plain diced tomatoes
    1 4 oz. can sliced tomatoes
    2 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
    2 garlic cloves minced
    1 onion finely chopped (1/4 c of dry minced is fine)
    1 tbsp basil
    1 tbsp parsley
    1 tbsp rosemary
    1 tbsp marjoram
    3 bay leaves broken into large pieces
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp black pepper
    1/4 tsp ground sage
    1 tsp savory
    2 tsp smoked paprika (Regular is fine too)
    1 tsp chili powder
    1 tsp ground cumin
    1 tsp ground coriander
    1 tsp tarragon

Tips

I'm sure there are more spices that I am forgetting right now. Sometimes I add Philadelphia Plain Cooking Creme to the mix.


Directions

Cook noodles per instructions on box. In a large sauce pan combine meat and seasonings. When done, remove bay leaves, add tomatoes, mushrooms, and sauce. When noodles are done, strain and add to sauce. Stir well. Serve with cheese on top and garlic bread if desired.
