Introduction
This is a tangy tart and sweet fruit butter that is great on banana bread, cranberry bread or toast. The interesting thing is that both fruits are distinctive in the flavor, first you taste the cranberry then the banana. Ingredients

1 pkg Cranberries (3 cups)
1 cup Cranberry Juice*
1-1 1/2 cups Sugar **
3 Ripe Bananas sliced
1 Tbsp lemon juice
Tips
* you can substitute low cal or a mix blend (all juice like cranberry pomegranate, etc)
** Calculated calories based on 1 1/2 cup sugar. I start with one cup and add additional sugar to taste in the second part of cooking. I haven't tried Stevia or articial sweetners, so you may have to experiment with these.
*** Canning would preserve this longer.
Directions
1. In a pan bring cranberries, juice and 1 cup sugar to a boil and boil for 5 minutes.
2. Blend cooked cranberries and bananas with 1 tbsp lemon juice until smooth.
3. Return to pot, cook on low for an additional 30 minutes, stirring frequently. Add additional sugar to taste if desired.
4. Place mixture in canning jars or airtight container. Will keep 3 months refrigerated.
Serving Size: Serving 1 TBSP makes 56 servings (3 1/2 cups)
