Ingredients:
*Whole Wheat Flour, 0.5 cup
*QUACKER OLD FASHIONED OAT 1/4 CUP DRY, 0.5 cup
Egg, fresh, 75 grams
Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp
Baking Powder, 1 tsp
Salt, .25 tsp
*Dairy Fresh Whole Milk, .6 cup
Banana, fresh, .5 cup, mashed
Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
Tips
The batter is very thick. you won't be able to pour it into the waffle iron. i used a spoon to put the batter into the iron. in that way you can have an equal shaped square.
Directions
In a large bowl, combine the flour, oats, sugar, baking powder and cinnamon. Combine the egg, milk, banana and oil; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
Pour batter by 1/4 cupfuls onto a greased hot griddle. Turn when bubbles form on top; cook until second side is golden brown. Serve with syrup. Yield: 1 dozen.
Serving Size: makes 4 "4 inch square" waffles
