Introduction

Toss this in a bread machine... health whole wheat bread. I set the bread machine to start in the middle of the night.. at under a buck a loaf, the machine pays for itself quickly! Ingredients

    Add to machine in this order:

    1 cup tepid water
    2 tbls honey (molassas is good, too)
    1 tsp salt
    1 egg (mix it into the water)
    2 tbls powdered milk
    1 1/2 cups unbleached bread flour
    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1/2 cup oats
    2 tbls flax seed meal
    2 tbls Wheat germ
    2 tsps chia seeds
    2 tsps yeast

    Start the machine and go to bed!

Tips

You can add sunflower seeds or whatever. This is a VERY dense bread... won't rise as high as others... a meal in a slice though.
