    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 package silken tofu
    1/3 cup nutritional yeast
    1/2 cup kale, boiled and chopped
    4 strips vegan bacon, fried and chopped
    vegan cheese, cheddar style
    dash of salt
    dash of pepper
    1 pastry crust (homemade or storebought)


Heat the oil and fry the onion and garlic. Pour half the onion mixture into a food processor and add the tofu and nutritional yeast, and blend together. In a large bowl combine all the filling ingredients and stir together. Pour into the crust and bake at 350 F for 30 minutes.
