1 can Solo almond paste 12.7 oz
1 package Wegman's Pizza Dough
Tips
This recipe works with poppy seed filling as well.
Directions
roll out the dough with floured rolling pin and spread the almond paste evenly over it. Roll it up, jelly roll style and pull the 2 ends together to form a circle. cover with a towel and leave in a warm, draft free place to "rest". Once it has doubled in size, use cooking shears to cut 1/2" slices throughout, and pull alternate pieces into the center of the circle. Bake for 1/2 hour @ 350 or until the top is brown.
