    1/2 lb dry lentils
    1 c diced tomatoes
    1 c chopped carrots
    1 & 1/2 c chopped celery
    1 c chopped onion
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    1-14.5 oz can chicken broth
    1/3 c tomato sauce
    4 c water
    1/2 tsp salt

Directions

mix all ingredients and simmer 1 hour
