Introduction

Makes two 12" thin crust pizzas. Or one pizza dough and one loaf of french bread. Makes two 12" thin crust pizzas. Or one pizza dough and one loaf of french bread.

Ingredients

    1.25 cups warm water
    1.25 tsp salt
    1 TBS granulated sugar
    3 cups white bread flour
    .75 cup whole wheat flour
    1.25 tsp yeast

Tips

I make one ball of dough into my pizza crust. The other I roll out into a rectangular shape about 4x10. Roll up tightly from the long side to make into a french loaf. Bake on a cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.


Directions

Add ingredients in order listed (or follow the instructions that came with your bread machine). Select dough/pizza setting and press start. My machine takes two hours.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

When cycle is done, remove dough from bread machine pan onto a lightly floured surface. Cut in half. Roll out each half to a 12-14" circle to fit your pizza pan. Bake crust only for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and add sauce and toppings. Return to oven and bake until crust is crispy. Approx 30 minutes.
