Ingredients

    In addition to ingredients listed (which were done by exactly how much to use) I used paprika, cayenne, pepper, curry, coriander, zatar, orange zest, etc. to taste.

    Sautee the onions and garlic to soften, add apple and carrots and cook about 15 min on medium until tender.

    Add four cups of chicken broth and cook soup at low boil until vegetables are very soft.

    Blend in batches, stir in milk and 1 tbsp butter.

Tips

I didn't have a blender so it didn't come out to the veloute I wanted. I would recommend using one to blend it in batches!
