Ingredients

    3 frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts (12 oz)
    1 can Herdez Salsa Casera (12 tbsp)
    1/2 cup Mahatma Jasmine Rice
    1 cup homemade chicken stock (less sodium than listed)
    cumin powder
    dried oregano
    dried cilantro
    garlic powder
    onion powder
    chili powder



Tips

If you prefer the chicken shredded versus in whole breasts, use metal tongs and a fork to shred chicken during last hour of cooking.


Directions

Rinse breasts and place in slow cooker pot. Defrost homemade chicken stock serving and add to pot with salsa and rice, stirring. Season liberally with cumin and chili powder. Season to taste with garlic powder, onion powder, cilantro and oregano. Cook covered on low for 6 hours. Divide into 3 servings
