Ingredients

    1 lb lean ground turkey
    1 med green pepper, finely chopped
    1 small red onion, finely chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 14.5 oz cans diced tomatoes, undrained
    1 16 oz can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
    1 15 oz can black beans, rinsed and drained
    1 14.5 oz can reduced sodium chicken broth
    1 3/4 cups frozen corn, thawed
    1 6 oz can tomato paste
    1 Tbsp chili powder
    1/2 tsp black pepper
    1/4 tsp ground cumin
    1/4 tsp garlic powder

Tips

Serve with reduced fat or fat free sour cream, reduced fat cheddar cheese.


Directions

In a large nonstick skillet, cook turkey, green pepper and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer; drain.

Transfer to a 4 quart slow cooker. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low 4-5 hours.
