Ingredients

    2 cups rolled oats
    1 cup mixed nuts chopped
    1/2 cup figs, chopped
    1 free-range egg
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 tsp cinnamon
    pinch sea salt
    1/2 cup butter unsalted
    1/2 natural sugar

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
    In a large bowl, combine oats, nuts, figs and cranberries. In a small bowl, beat egg with vanilla, cinnamon and salt. In a small pan, melt butter and sugar then pour over the granola mixture mixing until temperate. Add egg mixture mixing well. Pour into a baking pan and bake for 5 to 7 minutes. remove from oven and mix again to make sure butter hasn't settled to the bottom. when cool with wet hands and press mixture into a 9 x 9 pan. Refrigerate. cut in bars and serve or continue to refrigerate.
