Ingredients

    1 Can Goya Chick peas
    1 tsp Gringer root grated
    1 tsp Garlic grated
    1 tsp Cumin seeds
    1 tsp Garam Masala
    1/2 cup Yellow onions chopped
    1/3 Roma tomatoes chopped
    1/2 tbsp Coriander seeds powder
    1 tsp Turmeric powder
    1 Lipton tea bag
    Salt as per taste


Tips

To make a roll, put 1/4 cup of chole in the chapathi, top with some pico de gallo and lettuce. Drizzle some yoghurt. Squeeze little lime juice. Roll and serve.


Directions

Open the can and drain the water from chickpeas. Rinse thoroughly under running water. Put all the ingredients in a pressure cooker, pour enough water to coat the chickpeas and cook until 3 whistles. Let the cooker release the pressure. Remove the tea bag and mix with a ladle properly. Serve with phulkas with some slit jalapeno and sliced onions.
