Introduction

Put diced apples in bottom of crock pot set to low. Cover with Splenda brown sugar and cinnamon, then cover with steel cut oats and finally water. Do not stir yet. Cook in the crock pot for 1-2 hours until desired consistency is reached. Stir only once apple/brown sugar/cinnamon mixture starts to bubble to the top of the pot.     4 Cups of Water
    2 Cups of Steel Cut Oats
    1 Tbsp of Cinnamon, or to taste
    4 Tsp of Splenda Brown Sugar, or to taste

Tips

You can use regular quick-cooking oats but the crock pot method will tend to cook these down more and lose texture. I spoon into individual containers for single servings throughout the work week.


Directions

Cook in the crock pot for 1-2 hours until desired consistency is reached. Stir once apple/brown sugar/cinnamon starts to bubble to the top.
