Introduction

If you are busy person, this is the solution for you! I make a few batches of these burgers and freeze them for me and my family. They are quick sources of protein that you can eat with a slice of cheese melted on top or with a season side of rice or quinoa. I love to top them with black bean salsa and avocado slices. Ingredients

1 Pack Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean, 19 oz
1/2 cup Instant, Quick, and Regular Oats Cereal, uncooked
1/2 cup Salsa, Southwest Salsa (Safeway Select brand)
1/4 cup red onion diced small (optional)
    1 Egg fresh large egg
    1 tsp Salt,
    1 tsp Black Pepper

Tips

Each grill is different, so it may take a batch or two until you figure out the timing. Good luck and I hope you enjoy them!

Directions

Mix all ingredients in the order listed in large bowl with a wooden spoon. Have a plate ready for the patties and turn on your George Foreman grill. Shape the mixture into 9-10 balls and put them on the plate. When the grill is ready place the balls about 2-3 inches apart and grill them for 3-6 minutes. If you are unsure of whether they are cooked or not break one patty open and check to see if there's any pink left in the center. I can only cook up to 5 at a time on my grill, so be sure to clean up the residual juice that is left before putting the second batch on. If you don't it can burn and be more difficult to clean later.
