    1 C Long Grain brown rice, uncooked
    1 T Butter
    1 chicken bouillon cube (or 3/4 tsp bouillon powder)
    2.5 C water
    2 - 5 oz cans chicken, drained (or 1.5 C. cooked, diced chicken breast)
    1/3 C. raisins
    1 tsp curry powder


Saute rice in butter in sauce pan, stir in bouillion and water, cover and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered 20-30+ minutes until rice is soft and water is absorbed. Stir in chicken, raisins, and curry powder mixing well. Cover saucepan and remove from heat and let stand 10 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving.
