Ingredients

    1C water
    1/2C honey
    1T molasses
    1T vanilla
    1T maple extract
    1t salt
    2C pitted dates
    1C almonds
    12C old fashioned oats
    2C quick oats
    1/2C ground flax
    1/2C shredded unsweetened coconut
    2C coarsely chopped walnuts

Tips

This is nice with added dried fruit to your serving, applesauce and warm soymilk.

Directions

1. Place water, honey, molasses, extracts, dates and almonds into a blender. ( Let soak for 15 minutes and use hot water if your dates are on the harder side) Blend for a couple of minutes until smooth.
( Very thick)
2. Place the remaining ingredients into a large bowl and add the blender mixture. Mix well with hands.
3. Spread the mixture onto 2 large cookie sheets. Do not press, leave light and airy.
4. Bake 175 for about 8 hours. No need to stir but I did stir once or twice near end of baking.
