Ingredients:
*Flour, white, 2 cup
Egg, fresh, 1 large
*Canola Oil, .333 cup
Granulated Sugar, .125 cup
Baking Powder, 3 tsp
Whole Milk / Vitamin D, 1.75 cup
Strawberries, fresh, 2 cup, halves
Granulated Sugar, .25 cup
1 tsp salt
Tips
I only paid about $25 for my waffle maker at Walmart and it does a great job!!
Directions
First, Slice strawberries and add 1/4 c sugar and let sit to let juices release which creates a nice syrup.
Mix eggs, milk and oil in small bowl. Sift together flour, baking powder, 2 tbspns sugar, salt (1 tspn) together. Add wet ingredients a little at a time until smooth. Pour recommended amount on your waffle maker. I use a round one that rotates (like you see in motels).
Serve about 1/4 cup of strawberries with each half waffle.
Serving Size: one half of large waffle
