Wontons for soup, baking or frying Wontons for soup, baking or frying
Number of Servings: 60

Ingredients

    60 Wonton wrappers
    1/2 tsp chili powder
    1 tsp salt
    1tsp sugar
    1 tsp soy sauce
    1 tsp cherry brandy
    1 pound lean pork loin ground
    4 tbsp egg whites
    Dash of pepper to preference

Directions

Make filling from ground pork loin, sugar and spices. Add 1 tsp of filling to each wrapper, brush edges with egg white, fold diagonally both ways to make wonton. Boil 5-6 cups of water and drop in a few wontons at a time until they float (1-2 minutes). Drain and put aside for soup. Could also be baked at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or deep fried.
