2 Large Apples, peeled, cored, and chopped into .5-1" pieces
1.5 cups milk (I use 2% Lactaid)
Steel Cut Oat, 1 cup
Butter, salted, 1.5 tbsp-cut into pieces
Salt, .25 tsp
Flax Seed Meal (ground flax), 4 tbsp
.25 tsp cinnamon
pinch of cardamom
Tips
You can add anything to this recipe, during cooking (almond/vanilla extract, other spices) or as a topping (nuts, berries, maple syrup, peanut butter, etc.)
Directions
Spray crockpot with non stick cooking spray, all all ingredients to pot and stir. Cook on low overnight, about 7 hours.
