Ingredients



    Chicken Breast (cooked), no skin, 2 unit (yield from 1 lb ready-to-cook (remove)
    Pacific Natural Foods Organic Low Sodium Chicken Broth, 1 cup, 6 serving (remove)
    Carrots, raw, 3 medium (remove)
    Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced (remove)
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)
    Garlic, 6 cloves (remove)
    Turnips, 1 cup, cubes (remove)
    Parsnips, 1 parsnip (9" long) (remove)
    *Potato, raw, 2 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.) (remove)
    Rosemary, dried, 1 tbsp (remove)
    Sage, ground, 1 tbsp (remove)
    Savory, ground, 1 tbsp (remove)
    Parsley, 1 cup (remove)
    Thyme, fresh, 3 tsp (remove)
    Bay Leaf, 1 tbsp, crumbled (remove)
    Lentils, 1 cup (remove)
    kale, raw, 1 cup (remove)

Tips

I often make my own homemade broth instead of using store bought. You can substitute any poultry, but eliminating the skin reduces the fat. Meatballs are also delightful in this!


Directions

Combine all ingredients (except noodles and Kale) into crockpot. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Add noodles and chopped kale within 15-30 minutes before serving.
