Ingredients

tyson bacon (4 slices)
broccoli cleaned and chopped 6 cups
yellow onion 1/2 cup chopped fine
best choice fancy shredded cheddar cheese 1/2 cup
always save salad dressing 6 tbsp.
domino light brown sugar 1/2 cup
milk 1% 1/4 cup
Tips
can add shredded carrots, can garnish with chopped almonds or walnuts minced fine, great with sandwich and soup or side dish for any occasion.
Directions
in medium skillet fry bacon til crisp, drain grease, and pat dry the bacon slices. Choose 4 and set aside to cool.
In colander, remove covering or bag from broccoli bunch, and clean, cut broccoli crowns to bite size and place in colander, and throw away stock. Remove skin from yellow onion and chop fine, add to broccoli , then transfer broccoli and onion that is cleaned and cut to sizable storage bowl.
In separate bowl (medium size) mix 6 tbsp. of always save salad dressing (or one of your choice) and add light brown sugar 1/2 cup and add 1% milk 1/4 cup) and stir with wire whisk til smooth and creamy.
Pour salad dressing over broccoli and onion in your storage bowl and toss til even coverage.
Then with bacon cooled, begin to break it up fine and garnish the broccoli with the bacon and top off with 1/2 cup of fancy shredded cheddar cheese. Cover with lid to store, and chill for 1 hr. before serving.
Should make approximately 12 ~~1/2 cup servings.
