Introduction

Almond Butter is so much cheaper when you make it at home. It's so easy, wholesome, and amazingly delicious!!! The method I use produces an almond butter that does not require stirring due to oil separation, and stays smooth and spreadable even straight out of the fridge!! Ingredients

    8 oz raw almonds
optional add ins: cinnamon, nutmeg, salt

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Spread almonds onto a baking sheet. Bake until almonds are dark brown in color, and becoming fragrant. Watch them closely, as they will burn very quickly once they begin to roast.

Immediately pour the hot almonds into a food processor, or Ninja blender. Process until very smooth and creamy. You will need to stop and scrape down the sides of your food processor a few times during the beginning. But once the nuts release their oils, the butter becomes smooth and will blend easily.

Pour into a mason jar or container with a tight fitting lid. Store in refrigerator.
