Ingredients

    Ground beef, lean, 16 oz
    Canned Tomatoes, 1- 28 oz can
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    Beans, red kidney, 1 - 19 oz can
    Spinach, frozen, 1 package (10 oz)
    Water, 2.5 cup or more to taste
    Chili powder, 1 tbsp
    Oregano, ground, 1 tbsp
    Cumin, 1 tbsp

Tips

Great for the crockpot.

Make it thick like a chili or add more water to make it like a soup.

Serve with a sprinkle of parmesan.


Directions

Brown meat and onions in a large pot. Add spices to beef mixture. Stir in tomatoes, kidney beans and spinach. Add water. Bring to a boil then turn down and let simmer for at least 2 hours, longer is better.
