Introduction

Ingredients

    In a large bowl soak bran flakes in mixture of milk, oil, applesauce and eggs. Set aside and mix dry ingredients, flours, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt; add raisins to flour mixture (this will insure a more even distribution of the raisens. Fold ingredients together just until moist. Distribute mixture evenly into 18 paper lined muffin pan cups.

Tips

I sprinkle a coarse sugar on top of unbaked muffins. Add this amount into the calorie count.


Directions

Oven temperature 400 F
Bake for 20 minutes.
Insert toothpick to check for doneness.
