My moms sauce, simply the best! My moms sauce, simply the best!

    1 29oz can of tomato purée
    1 29oz can of water
    1 12oz can of tomato paste
    1 12oz can of water
    1 28oz can of crushed tomatoes
    3 cloves garlic crushed
    2 tbls Italian season
    1 tbl basil


Seasonings can be adjusted to taste. Add garlic powder, grated cheese, more basil etc. whatever suites your taste buds .


Empty cans of tomatoes into large 6qt pot, fill purée and paste cans with water and add to pot, stir in seasonings and bring to slow boil on med heat. When sauce starts to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 2 hrs, stirring occasionally. You can add your cooked meatballs and or sausage when you start simmering. Serves 28 -1/2 cup servings
