Ingredients

    Ingredients:

    Water, two cups
    Better Than Bullion Chicken Base, 3 tsp
    Chicken Breast (cooked), no skin, 1.5 ounces
    Sea salt to taste
    Garlic clove, one, minced (or 1/4 tsp garlic powder)
    Sweetener, one packet (or 7 drops liquid stevia)

    Any other spice or herb you prefer in your chicken soup.



Tips

I use leftover chicken; when I purchase a roast chicken for lunch or dinner I put leftover meat in 1.5 oz quantities in separate plastic bags or containers and freeze. I can now have chicken soup at any time-you could even have the dry ingredients in your desk (I.e., salt, garlic powder, stevia/sweetener, pepper), the Better than Bullion in the office refrigerator with the chicken in the freezer. If preparing at work you can also use the microwave. Saves money and time.


Directions

Put all ingredients into a sauce pan (or microwave safe bowl if using microwave), bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Serving Size: One 2-2.25 cup serving.
