Introduction

Ingredients

Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia)
Serrano Peppers, 2 pepper
Garlic, 5 cloves
Coriander seeds 2 tsp
Fennel seed 2 tsp
Smart Balance Light w/ Flax Oil 2 tbsp
mustard seed - 1 tsp
Water, tap, 5 cup (8 fl oz)
Lentils, 1 cup
Potato, raw, 1 medium - cubed to pea size
Peas, frozen, .75 cup
Cilantro, mini-cubes (Knorr) - 2 cubes
ground cumin - 1 T
ground coriander - 1T
turmeric - 1 T
**2 hari chutney

mint leaf - 2 leaves, 7.5 serving
Cilantro, fresh, 12 tsp
Lemon juice - half lemon
salt to taste
garlic - 2 cloves
serrano pepper - 2}
salt to taste
Directions
saute the first group (**1)in the ingredients in soup pot
add the water to get any bits off the pot. Dump in the lentils, cubed potatoes & peas. Add the spices. Let simmer until potatoes/lentils are cooked. Add in the hari chutney mixture to taste. I added 3 T
I make a **2 hari chutney with the second group - basically throw it all into a food processor until it's a smooth-ish. (I add water as necessary - maybe a half teaspoon of veg oil)
Serving Size: 10- 1 cup servings (guessing)
