Introduction

Delicious asparagus, no matter how you "fix" it! Delicious asparagus, no matter how you "fix" it!
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    Fresh asparagus, snapped (lose the woody stem!)
    Olive Oil
    Garlic Powder
    Course Salt
    Cracked Black Pepper, 5-pepper blend
    Opt: Lemon Pepper or Balsamic Vinegar

Tips

for extra flavor, add a few splashes of balsamic vinegar after drizzling oil (not included in nut. info)

also opt: lemon pepper (don't use if you include the balsamic vinegar)


Directions

snap stems - throw woody stem away. rinse. drizzle with olive oil. add a pinch of course salt, cracked pepper, and a couple dashes of garlic powder. grill, sautee or bake until tender. medium-low heat about 20 minutes.

you can also microwave; add a splash of water, cover, and nuke for about 3 minutes.

Serving Size: 2 servings - around 20 spears each (1/2 cup ea.)
