Introduction

Wonderful traditional biscotti - adapted to be gluten free! Wonderful traditional biscotti - adapted to be gluten free!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1/3 cup brown rice flour
    1/3 cup potato starch flour
    1/3 cup oat flour
    1/4 cup brown sugar, unpacked
    1 1/2 tsp ground anise seed
    1/8 stick butter, unsalted
    1 egg
    3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 tsp baking powder

Directions

Mix all dry ingredients. Add liquid ingredients and butter. Work with hands and form into one rectangular loaf. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 min. Cut into desired number of sections and brown on all sides in the oven.

Serving Size: Makes 1 loaf of biscotti. Slice into desired number of sections and divide by 852 for calorie count.
