Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1/2 Cup of water
    2/3 Cup of sugar
    3/4 Cup + 1-tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder
    1 1/4 tablespoon of vanilla extract

Directions

Bring water to a boil. Remove from heat and add cocoa and sugar, mix well. Once mixed, put back on heat. Low boil for five minutes stirring frequently. Allow to cool completely; store in refrigerator.
* May thicken without boiling.

    Very Good
    I made this according to the recipe, put it in the fridge and forgot about it for a couple of days. By the time I remembered it, it had congealed. I skeptically used it in a cold iced mocha coffee. It took 2 large heaping tablespoons to get the flavor I desired. But its worth keeping!! - 6/6/14
