Ingredients

    1 pound chicken breasts
    1/2 box (3.5 servings) of whole wheat linguine (735 calories)
    1/8 bell pepper
    1/8 onion
    1 cup water
    1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
    powder chicken bouillon to taste
    1 T soy sauce
    1 T flour
    2.5 oz cashews

Tips

Serve with 2/3 cup green beans or one cup of broccoli for a 400 calorie meal!


Directions

Begin boiling pasta. Thinly slice chicken and sprinkle with salt, pepper, onion and garlic powders and saute in skillet over medium heat until done. Remove chicken and rinse skillet if necessary. Saute peppers and onions for just a minute or two, then remove. Add a cup of water, applesauce, and chicken bouillon powder. Heat until steaming, then whisk in flour. Add chopped kale, pasta, chicken, and vegetables. Serve and sprinkle each serving with a half ounce of cashews.
