Introduction

Perfect rice every time. Perfect rice every time.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    2 tbsp oil
    1 cup rice
    ¼ cup vermicelli noodle
    4 cups boiling water
    1 chicken bouillon cube (optional)

Tips

Without the bouillon cube it is 11- 15 calories less. Be very careful not to burn as the last of the water cooks off. Add more water to make the rice extra soft.

Directions

Heat the oil in a deep pan on medium heat. Cook the vermicelli noodles till golden brown, and then add the rice. Stir constantly. You’ll notice the rice will become a brighter white as it is cooked in the oil. Once all the rice has turned color add 3 cups of the boiling water. With the last cup of water in a glass mix the chicken bouillon cube, and pour over the rice mix. Cover, and let all the water cook off. By the time the water has cooked off the rice should be perfectly cooked. Be careful not to burn the rice as it gets close to being finished. Add ½ cup more water if you feel it is needed.
