Introduction

Ingredients

1 (12 fl. oz.) can Best Choice® Evaporated Milk
1 (12 fl. oz.) can water
2-tablespoon oil
¼ cup all-purpose flour
2 John Morrell Franks made with chicken and pork, quartered and diced
Salt and pepper to taste, optional
1 teaspoon other seasoning, I used Cajun
Directions
1. In the serving bowl, combine the evaporated milk and water, set aside.
2. Place a skillet on stove on medium high heat. Add the oil, then the flour and stir with a whisk until the flour thickens and is smooth. Continue to cook to brown the flour, stirring constantly.
3. Add the diced franks and continue to stir.
4. Add the evaporated milk/water mixture to the hot skillet. Continue stirring until the gravy thickens. If it is too thick add more water.
5. Season the gravy with salt, pepper and other desired seasonings.
Serving Size: Makes about 6 (½ cup) servings of gravy
