Introduction

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    4 cups Blackberries, fresh,
    Juice of 1/2 Lemon
    1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
    TOPPING:
    1/2 cup rolled oats
    1 Tbsp wheat germ
    1/4 cup Whole Wheat Flour
    1/4 tsp salt
    1.2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 cup brown sugar (or granulated cane juice crystals)

Directions

Preheat over to 375 degrees. Butter 8 X * baking dish. Mix the berries in a bowl with lemon juice, cinnamon, and flour. place them in the baking dish, adding enough water (or berry juice if they were frozen) to cover the bottom.

Mix topping in a bowl and press onto top of berries. Bake for 25 minutes.

Serves 8.

Serving Size: Makes 8 servings in 8 X 8 baking dish.
