Introduction

Ingredients

1/2 C Butter
1/4 tsp Salt
1 C Boiling Water
1 C sifted all pourpose Flour
4 large Eggs
Tips
Just store in a cupboard if going to be used in a day or so. Do not put done shells in a bag or they will go soggy and get flat. May be used right away or may be refrigerated or Frozen for use later.
Directions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. In medium sauce pan, mix water, shortening and salt until entire mixture boils. Reduce heat and add flour all at once and stir vigorously until mixture makes a ball. Remove from heat add eggs one at a time, beating each throughly after each addition.
Continue beating until mixxture is thick and breaks from spoon.
Spoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from hot oven and turn oven off. Poke a couple of holes in the shells and place them back in the oven for 30 minutes to completely dry them.
