Ingredients

    2 stalks celery
    sm. onion (about 1 c)
    3 tsp garlic
    1 md. carrot
    2c cabbage
    1 can diced tomatoes & juice
    11 oz v8 low sodium vegetable juice
    4 c chicken broth
    1/2 c whole wheat elbow pasta
    1/4 c parmesan cheese shredded
    basil
    parsley
    oregano

Directions

Sauté onion, celery, & garlic, until soft. Add carrot, & cabbage, cook until crisp add tomatoes, vegetable juice, & broth, bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 min. just before serving add pasta & cheese
