Introduction

Ingredients

    1 - 15oz pkg Hormel Beef Roast au jus ( reg or Italian)
    1 cup chopped onion
    1 - 8 oz box sliced raw mushrooms
    32 oz unsalted beef broth (or campbell's french onion soup and 1 soup can water and campbell's beefy mushroom soup and 1 soup can water)
    1 - 28oz can petite diced tomatoes ( sometimes I even have the no salt version)
    1 - 10 oz can rotel tomatoes 7 green chilies

Directions

Put onion and mushrooms in bottom of slow cooker, add broth (or soups and water), add tomatoes and rotel. Take the Hormel roast out of the cardboard sleeve and microwave about 3 minutes, remove from microwave, carefully remove film covering and shred roast with 2 forks. Stir the shredded roast into the slow cooker. Cover and set slow cooker on high for 5 hours or low for 7-9 hours. Serves 7 (1 1/2 cups)
