Ingredients

    Steel Cut Oats, dry, 2 cup
    Fat Free Milk, 3 cup
    Water, 3 cup (8 fl oz)
    Salt, .5 tsp
    Apples, fresh with skin, 2 large, chopped
    Cranberries, dried, sweetened (craisins), 0.75 cup
    Brown Sugar, .25 cup, packed
    Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp
    Almonds, .75 cup, slivered

Tips

Bump up the protein by adding 1/2 C. fat free Greek yogurt.


Directions

Combine everything except almonds in a 2.5 quart casserole with a lid. Bake at 350F for 45-60 minutes. Remove the lid and sprinkle slivered almonds over the top and bake uncovered for the last 15 minutes.
